Taycan lookalike at about a quarter of Porsche's price!

Looks more than acceptable to me albeit a blatant copy. I saw a black Taycan ST today that looked awesome and probably the best looking car in the Porsche line up to me.
I also think there is huge diversity of looks and shapes in the EV market at the moment and am currently struck by the new Polestar 4 which early test drives are suggesting is a brilliant drive too!
I will definitely be getting an EV very soon but will keep one or more Porsches too as there is room for both in life generally I think

So will be leasing it through the company and therefore depreciation is not a concern soβ¦Moriarty wrote: βFri Mar 29, 2024 4:04 pmWhat EV(s) are you considering, Jon?Jon A wrote: βFri Mar 29, 2024 2:57 pm Looks more than acceptable to me albeit a blatant copy. Have obviously looked at Macan but very expensive for what you get, Taycan CT same story. I am prioritising comfort, quality and range over outright performance and am extremely impressed with Polestar 4 at the moment.
Available to order for September delivery but limited info restricted to some launch reviews. However it looks like it may be a bit of a groundbreaking car if the very few actual driven reviews are anything to go by. It would appear to tick all the boxes for me including loving how it looks, so am considering pulling the trigger when back in the office after Easter.

Whenever I see a Polestar out on the road, I think they look pretty cool and one of the more desirable EVs. (Related to Volvo, I think? Iβve had 3 Volvos, and liked all three of them!)Jon A wrote: βFri Mar 29, 2024 4:33 pmSo will be leasing it through the company and therefore depreciation is not a concern soβ¦Moriarty wrote: βFri Mar 29, 2024 4:04 pmWhat EV(s) are you considering, Jon?Jon A wrote: βFri Mar 29, 2024 2:57 pm Looks more than acceptable to me albeit a blatant copy. Am going to have to Google the Polestar 4β¦.
Edit: Had a look. Itβs big and weirdly has no rear window. I prefer the slightly smaller (and less expensive) Polestar 2.

That's a LiDAR sensor pod, for autonomous driving.
