I don’t believe that my TPMS units have even been replaced.

Exposure to strong sunlight doesn’t help but premature perishing might be worth enquiring via a Michelin dealer.
I think I may have a very slow puncture in the front left, so I might look to replace the front tyres.
Black Circles quoting £537.02 fully fitted for two fronts. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S N0.
Perhaps get a second opinion from a reputable tyre dealer, like ATS Euromaster (owned by Michelin, as are Blackcircles), especially if you suspect a slow puncture.
I’ll have to let a more technically knowledgeable forum member answer the above.
The TPMS sensor does have an integral valve. The battery isn't generally replaceable, so at some stage the TPMS sensor will need to be replaced. Expected lifetime isn't clear - it's probably related to operating hours - but may be 8 years or so.
Thank you for the update. I’ll have to start saving up for another Porsche tax item
TPMS sensors run on batteries that can last anywhere from 5-10 years. Sensor battery life will depend on how much driving you do over time and the conditions that you drive in.
