Good to know - mine goes in for first service and one of the additional service items to be done was re-program the instrument panel ...

For reasons that will become clear if you read the thread below, I'd recommend photographing the distance/time to next oil change when you drop the car off.

I called in @ my OPC yesterday, & they confirmed that the warning sign in this thread is a check to light to see if the brake booster is OK. Apparently they have only seen it in older cars ie 17/67 reg cars. I have a friend with a 25 year anni boxster & the warning sign is not there even though the update has been done.

My Macan is a Gen 3 and it appeared after the last software update about 2 months ago ;)

The same yellow warning sign appeared on my 2015 Macan after it was serviced in September. But even more bizarre is that the PCM now makes tinkling / jingling noise for a couple of seconds every time the car starts up. I thought perhaps it was to signal a Bluetooth connection or something similar but can't but can't find any obvious connection.

Would be interested to know if anyone else has noticed anything similar?
