I have never seen anything from Porsche stating that using non N rated tyres invalidates your warranty. There are plenty of statements that you cannot renew a warranty and tons of marketing hype about how good N rated tyres are.

Has anyone anything other than rumour and gossip that states categorically the warranty is voided?

Looking at the photos, the tyres are N0 rated, so I don’t think this is the warranty issue?

Hi Bluenose. Let me clarify. These are N rated tyres. Dealer wouldn't fit the wheels as they are not listed as an 'accessory' for the vehicle and should any issue arise warranty claim could be problematic. They did say I could fit them myself but I came to an 'arrangement' for a 19-inch set which they will store for me when not in use. An easier solution all round.

Do Porsche approved wheels ?
Porsche approved tyres?

Love to know how they would affect the warranty.

When the Gen 3 was introduced the 18 inch wheels disappeared as an accessary option for that generation irrespective of brake disc size.

Also I have read somewhere the wheel offsets do vary between Gen 2 and Gen 3? If so that could be a reason for saying the Gen 2 set do not fit Gen 3.
