Just had yesterday a discussion with my OPC Bournemouth, who have agreed to match the Portsmouth OPC price of £787 Including VAT fitted.

This is for the Front & Rear Porsche dash cams, Mine is a 23MY build week 44 so is fitted from the factory with the wiring pre installed for the rear camera.

Having been running my Porsche twin cameras for a few weeks I’m still pleased with it and feel they are a credible alternative to other systems available….
If using your iPhone to connect to the camera via Wi-Fi you do need to temporarily disconnect from CarPlay…once set up you only need to do this, for instance, if you want to download footage to the phone…

I'm confused! Potential answers seemed to be "No, it's included" or "Yes, you do". Which is it Cowdray?

The WD card is listed as a separate item when you click the link, but not clear whether you need one aswell..

It’s not overly clear that includes fitting, but must do given the quotes already mentioned on the thread

I did not buy a separate card, I got one with the front and rear system I had installed by the OPC.

From the link - "Recorded videos are stored on the supplied SD card and previous recordings are overwritten"

The extra SD card is likely just a larger one for those that want to keep a longer duration of recording. When the card is full it overwrites the oldest recordings first.

Tequipment price is for parts only. The day before that page went live I booked with Portsmouth at £787 inc. VAT supply & fit. After I noticed it I contacted Reading to make sure I was actually getting a "deal" from Portsmouth. Reading replied as follows - "Your vehicle comes with the preparation and qualifies for a front and rear camera. This comes to cheaper than the £788.80 including VAT quoted on the website for the parts. Instead it comes to £460.00 including VAT. The labour to have this fitted with us comes to £716.40 including VAT. Total cost £1,176.40".

Long story short Portsmouth is a very good deal if you want the Porsche F&R dash cam in a MY2023 car with the wiring prep.
