Comfort is always a personal opinion. I'm 17 stone so compress the squab more than a 12 stone lightweight would. I also have a chronic coccyx injury so after every 2-3 hours would stop for a loo break and be fine again for the next stint.
I can't remember the seats being any firmer than the demo S3 I had for a couple of hours.
