I haven't got this myself but an option is available to buy.

I think I remember somebody was getting PPF applied to it ....

I mentioned to a Gen 3 owner on here to go to a local PPF installer to get a price, not sure if he did though.

I asked about it when getting the outside done but they were reluctant as it needs to go on wet and there was concern over the electricals.

Yeah, there would be that as well. I wonder if window tint would be thinner and better product so the controls would work better than thicker PPF. Window tint would still require moisture to apply, but wonder if you could use less?

I do all my own car cleaning etc, always have done, and I have just finished a two part Meguiars treatment on my White Macan. Debating what to put on the surface of the wheels (the bits that show). There are various options including Gtechniq C5. I could just use car wax, but is the C5 or similar a better option, not just for protection but also for a hign shine?

I was considering using C5 on my wheels, but the problem I found is that it requires 24 hours curing time, protected from the weather, ie indoors, and I haven’t got a garage.

Yes, I bought some 5 years ago to do my (then) new car, but thought I'd put it off for a while. Still putting it off.

C5 is probably as good as wheel protection gets, and will do a much better job than wax. You can also overcoat C5 with EXO. Brake dust will still adhere to the wheels, but they will be much easier to clean. Although I’ve found PSCB best to eliminate brake dust altogether, now I just clear off general mud :)

I'm surprised that nobody has come up with a covering similar to what you cover an ipad screen with , goes on dry so no problem with water. I wonder if the buttons would work with this over them, no problem on an ipad or iphone. Might buy some screen covers and cut them to suit.
