Put a query into GB as to why there are no live traffic updates and got the following reply:-

"I hope you are well.

Porsche Germany’s technical team have advised that your Real Time Traffic concern is linked to a major incident that they are currently working on a resolution for. As soon as I have any further information, I will be in contact to discuss the next steps. I am so sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.

Once the concern has been resolved, I will be more than happy to consider a gesture of goodwill for the overall experience.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at the Porsche Customer Interaction Centre."

Looking forward to the "gesture of goodwill" - a free oil change would really keep me wedded to the brand. :--)

More likely don't want to pay Google for the license.

I've noticed that RT traffic info has not been apparent in mine for the last two days, so maybe it's spread beyond new cars.... :(

I had RT traffic during my drive through France on Wednesday, however, yesterday it seems to have disappeared! 😠 Hope the problem hasn’t spread to Gen 2 cars as well now!! 🤔

I’m still in France, and RT traffic is working today 👍👍

It has disappeared for me today (Friday) 8/7), near Portsmouth Uk. On my Gen2 S, no globe after first start up. On second start up, a globe appeared with a small roadworks sign and a traffic notice appeared. At no stage did I have the live traffic that has worked for more than three years
