Members here have fitted after market mudflaps for years but there is no ready mad fitting already on the car.

Having PFF applied to the vulnerable areas is imo a better option.

I have not bothered but there again (I’m risking being lynched here) its a car, no reason to be OCD about a Macan, drive it, wash it, enjoy it
Lynch him! It’s not just a car!!

Emersons31 wrote: Sat Jul 02, 2022 2:03 pm Hi, I'm new to the forum and apolgise in advance if this issue has been raised elsewhere and if this is a stupid question. I've placed a deposit for a Macan GTS and expect delivery Q4 23/Q1 24. I have looked through the build options and can find nothing about mud flaps. I'm guessing this is not an available option. Do others feel the addition is valuable or do you not bother or fit after market mud flaps?
Welcome to the forum Emersons! Firstly, there’s no such thing as a stupid question. Secondly, you will get lots of conflicting advice on here, so eventually you will make your own mind up and spec the car accordingly. Mud flaps can be a little contentious among members, with strong views that they should never be seen on a Macan, especially a GTS. It’s the same with running boards. But there are one or two members who have fitted them with the aim of protecting the bodywork, or because they tow something so hopefully they will be along shortly to give you answers from users’ perspectives. Whatever read here, stick to your guns and keep asking questions!

+1.

Caster (Dave) fitted mudguards to his Macan. Hopefully he’ll add a comment... :)

As I understand it, you can’t have running boards on a Gen III GTS because they have Sports Design side skirts as standard and the two things are not compatible. If you look at the options for the S and the GTS on the Tequipment site, that’s what it seems to say.

On the "T" and "S" it's one or the other, current plan is to go for a "T" but there's a little voice in my head telling me to drop a few options and get an "S".

That’ll be the voice of reason!

It’s a Porsche…the S at least has the engine from the previous GTS…the T has a 2.0 4-pot. Wouldn’t do it for me.
