What I don't get, this being my first Porsche, is at what point do you say I'm not paying until I'm happy? I assume it's before the car is registered. Do you drive the car or accept it has got an engine and gearbox?
My point is that there has to be trust in the deal and your real recourse after the car has been built to your satisfaction is via the warranty system. The chips are stacked with the dealer and you'll find it impossible to back out of the deal for minor matters such as panel alignment. Read your contract.
