Agreed. A very high profile ‘influencer’ and general Porsche fan. And probably one of the most respected motoring journalists too.

However, I dislike when public figures get prioritised over the enthusiasts.

Then again, I am not in the market for GT3, so it is a mute point.

As everyone points out odd PTS choice as it's not exactly unique/different. I always spec privacy glass on all my 911s so will have to disagree with that. Thinking of PTS on my GTS or Crayon this time round, had too many GT silver 911s!

Hear, hear! Although I bet there’ll be a lot of interest in his 991.2 GT3 Touring when he sells it.

Plus, he’s generally pretty positive about Porsches, so is an effective unofficial ambassador for the marque.

You’re pretty shrewd with your purchases. Do you think you’d recover the extra cost of PTS, over the cost of Crayon? And how much time would it add to the wait for a new 992 GTS?
