Clydesdale Bank since they merged with Virgin Money

I had a quote with Halifax for 4.9%. Think it’s gone up now though.
They are representative rates and can vary by person.

Financed my 1M with him 11 years ago. Couldn’t believe he was still there doing same thing.

Clydesdale came back at 5.4% but with a slightly lower balloon (which is a double edged sword - you own more at the end but costs more monthly!) - however, still the cheapest quote currently and well within budget!

Has anyone dealt with getting a car loan from Clysdale Bank since they merged with Virgin Money?

Whilst the rate seems as competitive with Virgin Money, they don't seem to offer loans with a balloon or loans over £35k.

Failing the above, does anyone know of any other financers that are more competitive than Porches' own 5.9%?

I get Finance with them at 5.2% (3 weeks ago) with balloon payment less than 35k.

I contacted them today, balloon payments are higher at present and they expect the rates to increase in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks, I have responded asking if balloon payments are negotiable as I felt their initial quote was actually quite low. Will be interesting to see what they say!
