That'll be a hard one to judge, beyond me for sure.

The video, posted above, seemed to denigrate it but performance was no worse in their tests. If I'm paying someone to do a job I've taken a view on his ability/experience so think I'll trust his judgement on the product too. However, the cynic in me says, he might have a financial axe to grind and that the product test weren't done by Which? or Oxford University!

In for a penny, in for a pound. It's done so now we'll see how it performs. The car looks a lot better although one scratch has not gone totally but you have to know where to look. Here are some pictures:

Not the best weather for the shoot but needed to get it done before any further avian bombing runs.
One downside of this treatment is the showing up of, previously unnoticed, tiny stone chips. Next job....

As above, looks good. Are you happy with it?
Did he give you any tips on cleaning products to use after having it applied?

It always looked good when clean, tough to definitely quantify improvement, but some I think. Time will be the best judge. I have an email to come to confirm a recommended maintenance regime, already on this sub-forum, methinks! (two buckets, neutral shampoo no additives etc.) and if I need it a box of products/kit.

I think the 2 bucket method is pointless imo. If you've done a good snow foam and pressure wash off, there really shouldn't be much left on the panels then. Then give it another snow foam and go over that with your mitt and soapy suds. Then a good rinse off with your filtered water, and get the leaf blower on it if required.

You really get to see how good an LSP is when you come to wash it, grime should come off pretty easy.
