Hi all.

Many thanks for your open responses.

Feel like I’m old before my time. Should have bought a 911 😀

But practicality. Comfortable family car ticks all the boxes. So a happy macan owner in his 30s.

Miles of smiles 😀

That cold start. The exhaust tone. 👌🏽

As like many of us. We exhausted the likes of BMWs. Audi’s. Mercedes. Land Rovers. To mention but a few.
But the Porsche Macan - what a sense of occasion- everytime you turn the key.

Happy motoring.

There seems to be a wide range of insurance premiums - many of which are much lower than I was expecting. I will receive delivery of my GTS in early October and so far haven’t explored insurance options. I am 56, have 6 years of NCD as well as a clean license. I was paying £550 (with LV) for my 2017 540i which I sold a few weeks ago (12,000 miles/yr). With this reference any ideas what premium I could expect to pay for my new GTS? I was expecting to pay more than £550 but I see many posts with sub £400 premiums.

I went from a 2015 535d to my current Macan SD and insurance went up about £100. That’s probably a similar comparison.
