Is this a common problem with the top of rear boot strut? Going in to the OPC on the 27th for the recall and transfer box issue, so wondered if this should or could be replaced?

Not seen that mentioned before. Certainly not a problem on my July 2015 car. There are no flies on my car either

I had this too. OPC Edinburgh wouldn't replace under warranty so I shelled out £2.60 on an official Porsche replacement. The clips are available separately but £2.60 for a part that looks almost identical to the ones on my Clio 182 is robbery.

It's just gobsmacking how a business can ruin customer goodwill for the sake of such a small mount  :(
Depending on how far they are from you, how about using the OPCs in Perth or Glasgow instead?

Did you buy the clip from the OPC CamGTS? I am booked into Edinburgh OPC for the other work on the 27th.

I have this on my car, both sides. 2017.
Mine is in Porsche Glasgow just now for some warranty work but when I asked about the clips was told they wouldn’t be replaced under warranty as wear and tear items.
They quoted me £30 to replace both sides.

Interesting. I bought my GTS from OPC Glasgow 6 months ago and it must have been like this then. At least I know what to expect now from Edinburgh!
