The little flat aluminium pseudo-protective bit in the boot which comes unstuck on a regular basis?

I think I figured out the whole long 'trim panel for lock carrier' grey plastic part is 95B864483J, but ideally I just want the aluminium bit.

Why new part instead of just glue??

+1. This happened on my Merc and I just glued back on and it’s never moved since.

The old one is a bit bent up.

Probably because it's aluminium and thinner than the average baked bean can.

Not Porsche design department's greatest hour...

Do make sure you take your medicine before the Parts Department tell you the price.
