Macan 3 interior trim removal

Hello,

My recently acquired used Macan 3 was specced with wood trim, which isn’t to my taste. I’ve ordered the black aluminium trim to replace it and shortly need to carry out the change over.

I’ve done some research on here and can see links to guides for the previously generations, but just wanted to check if anyone had any experience/access to workshop manual before I crack on.

I know the doors and main facia just required careful trim tool action, but the vents previously needed a tool to pop them out also and I wanted to check whether there is similar on the 3.

Just to say this is pretty easy on a Macan 3, similar to the guides for the Macan1/2. The air vents need to be pulled out with a hooked wire (I bent the end of a coat hanger) and pulled pretty damn hard.

All of the trims have 1/2 clips which you need to guide the trim piece to the left/right/up depending on the trip pieces once you have all the poppers loose. Best to look at the back of the replacement trim to understand, if that’s what you’re doing.

I now have a wood interior, as new, that is available if anyone wants to make an offer. Will list in the for sale area.
