My first S. Driver Manual Macan S fuel is recommended “at least 95 RON/88 MON” with no Alternative recommended.
Assume that means you can use expensive 99 RON or cheaper Supermarket 98 RON, or even basic 95 RON
Any recommendations/preferences?

It was done to death on

I use 95 with no perceptible difference to 98. In fact I get better consumption with 95 but that's just a factor of the routes taken after filling up with either.

I use ordinary 95 and it works fine. I've tried "premium" fuels but can't detect any mpg improvement.

I use Tesco Momentum 99 most of the time, but wouldn’t hesitate to use 95 if need be.

The long answer is covered to death in the post referenced above, the short answer is as long as the handle is green, fill it up.

V-Power in every car I've owned since it first came on sale. Even down to my little Twingo 133RS run-around I had for 7 years.

You can tell the difference, and for me, it's worth the extra for the power and cleaning the engine.

As others have said, subject done to death several times over so I don't want to start it up again, but to answer your question, the manual covers all variants so I would always go by the sticker on the fuel flap since that relates to your car. But if 98 isn't available at any time 95 is fine.
