Newbie question ?
I've had my Gen 3 Macan S for about two weeks, the cooling fan always runs on for 3-5 minutes after turning the engine off , irrespective of how long the journey was, even a mile. Is this normal ??
Cooling fan running after engine stop.
Yes. Mine does it all the time, don’t spend a second worrying about it.Scooby_Doo wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 12:01 am Newbie question ?

It was pretty much the first thing I noticed about my Gen 3 Macan S!.... I've had BMW X3, MERC GLC, GLE, not noticed it before! especially on a 5 minute commute to the shops!. I park mine in the garage after every trip and you can't miss the noise of the cooling fan running when parked up in such an enclosed space.Scooby_Doo wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 12:01 am Newbie question ?

My 2016 Diesel does the same, but ironically it does it more so in the winter time, when the outside temp is freezing. Work that one out.
