12000?
Should be nearer 800 once the engine is up to temperature could be a faulty sensor or ECU issue. Definitely get it booked in under warranty.

ok thanks just wondered if anyone has had this happen to them, it used to sit at 800 rpm but now 1200, I’m guessing something to do with cold start and the fan running on after stopping which never happened before, hopefully find out tomorrow at Perth cheers

Are you saying Perth don't have a multi-week lead time before they will do anything? If so they could attract some business from us sassenachs!

what I’m saying is when I go to Perth the might have seen this problem before and get it booked in, hopefully simple fix but I’ll ask, I’ve never had any problem with Perth

booked in 19 th December with loaner, I’ve had a Panamera, Taycan, and a Macan, for service and mots Perth have been good to me unlike BMW And Mercedes they are pathetic in Dundee, for me after service is a big deal, don’t know how long it would take if it was an emergency to get booked in but all good🤞

Great result, that’s pretty quick by normal standards 👍
