So Mrs A had her Boxster serviced by an Indy in August. This was a 4 year service and car is under the two year extended Porsche warranty.
Lat month she noticed the power delivery getting lumpy and PSM light would come on under hard acceleration.
Into the (very nice) new OPC in Nottingham and problem explained as well as telling them that it had been serviced in August by an Indy.
Booked in and found engine pressure sensor was faulty as well as a turbo actuator sticking (whatever that is) which needed replacing too.
All done today under warranty, no questions asked. I asked them outright about servicing at an Indy and they confirmed it didn’t matter as long as the service itself didn’t cause the problem, otherwise warranty unaffected.
Thought I would post this as this, as it is actual experience of the process and worth knowing.

That’s good news, Jon, but I do wonder if all OPC’s would adopt the same stance? 🤔😏

I don’t think it’s a choice thing Allan, it’s written in the policy. Net result for me is I saved £900 on its service AND had some warranty work carried out without so much of a raised eyebrow 😂
Ultimately I wasn’t prepared to let Porsche tell me how to own my car, and in the end they didn’t even try to so win, win.

Who are you using? Presumably the 992 will be going there too?
