My Macan is 11 months old mileage 4000 does mostly longish journeys. Battery flat for the third time today despite having done 200 miles 11 days ago and 25 miles five days ago.
Porsche Assistance (aka AA) just been out and say it isn’t charging up properly and needs a new battery. First car I’ve ever had needing this after a year.
Is this a common problem? Obviously covered under warranty but means a trip to OPC next week.

I don’t think it’s common. I don’t recall any similar posts on here over the last 6 years.

We have a VW Tiguan and a similar fault showed itself after about a year. No matter how long a journey you had completed it would be flat the next day.
VW diagnosed a faulty battery with, I think, two plates inside the battery shorting out. New battery fitted under warranty.
Did take a few days to finally get it fitted as of course they did not have the right battery in stock.
It has been fine for the last four years.

I think there’s some evidence that GM batteries can fail early like this. I had a bike battery do the same.
