Wondering if the oil leaks have been taken care of now in the later year models? Only Saw complaints with pre 2019 so far?

Probably too early to say as they only landed in UK in October. Haven’t seen anyone with a gen3 mention oil leaks on this forum yet.

I have not seen any reports of issues on model 2019 and later v6's with the "Audi" rather than "Porsche" engines

They would be completely different engines back pre 2019.

No oil leaks so far, in my Gen 2 Macan S (since buying it in May 2019).

Yes the change from 3.0 engines to 2.9 should have resolved the problem (a least one would have hoped). Local PC was doing one per week; fastening bolts over tightened in the factory causing them to break and therefore the gasket not sealing properly. Timing chain cover if I remember correctly

2.0 (4 cylinders) is a Golf engine. One should go to Golf forums to know its problems.

2.9 (6 cylinders) is an Audi engine. It has oil leaks in a lot of places, not only the timing change. again, Audi forums can be of help.

3.0 (6 cylinders) and 3.6 (6 cylinders) are Porsche engines. Some of them might have a leak on the timing chain cover. In all these years, there is no report of any broken engine because of this. For more info:
