I recently got a quote of £2160 incl VAT for a 3 year extended warranty from my local OPC for my 2020 Macan S.

Nice one, thanks! Looks like the cost is fixed at £720/year then because I'm pretty sure the 2 year warranty is £1440.
Yes it is, I’m extending my warranty in April for 24 months, no inspection fee
Just spoken with Tewkesbury and can confirm the two years at £1440 and no checking required. But an extra £285 for the Porsche Assist! :o Which she said was an all singing deal with the AA.

Ed. Just the following confirmation from OPC

12 months extended warranty £800 inc vat
12 months road side assistance £175 inc vat - this is optional

24 months extended warranty £1440 inc vat
24 months road side assistance £285 inc vat - this is optional

36 months extended warranty £2160.00 inc vat
36 months road side assistance £385.00 inc vat – this is optional

Thanks for the pricing!

I’m starting to think that it’ll be more cost effective not to have roadside assistance and just phone the AA once broken down and pay the inflated fee.

The last time I broke down was in 2008.

I've used it. Recovery gets you to the front of the queue for repairs. I had a warning light come on. Even though safe to drive they sent a technician out who confirmed it was an OPC job. He took the car to Hatfield OPC then came back to pick his van up in a taxi. Enterprise the dropped a Merc off for me before 5.00pm that day. Had it for 2 days then dropped it off at the OPC when I picked my car up. Very convenient and worth the fee for that call out alone.
