The advantages of grey body and two tone diamond cut wheels - takes a while to look dirty

Iโ€™ve just arrived in Inverness from south coast today in my 992 which is white

I topped up the ceramic coating before I left and have just jet washed it only and it looks like new again !
On order

A 600 miles plus day trip from South Coast to Inverness must really test a car's ability to provide a quick, comfortable and stress-free driving experience ;) ;) ;)

Iโ€™ve been lazy and stopped over a few times as Iโ€™m still heading north!

Toyed with bringing Macan but the 911 won over for itโ€™s ability to squirt past stuff !

Yorkshire roads were brilliant

Taking the "brilliant roads" in GOC, and elsewhere, with a few stopover always beat belting up a motorway. Having the option to do that is a blessing of retirement. We need a register of such Porsche roads in the UK. Including Bernard Castle and Stanhope in a route from Sheffield to/from Northumberland is a must for me. The Black Mountain Pass in S Wales is saved as a "want to go" in Google Maps :) Before then I'm off to Aberdeen in the last week of this month with daughter 3 and two sets of golf tackle, don't think there's a 911 in the world that'll beat a Macan for that trip!

Not spotted that, thanks ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘. A quick look at the local ones renders some familiar bits and whets the appetite for more, added it as a bookmark and now just need space in the diary for a night at the Durham Ox :)

OK. Nice part of France. I'm out of touch with UK entry Covid test rules at the moment. Do you still need to complete a Locator form and how many PCR tests do you need on arrival?
