Manufacturers 'rationing petrol cars'
Gonna be big problems in Britain if they don't stop that crazy % rule. Europe will probably extend the target date indefinitely eventually, but stop producing R/H drives cars because the UK just wont be worth operating in.

It's obvious that we have a government (both at central and local levels) which is fiercely anti-motorist. I'm amazed at how many politicians and senior civil servants don't drive - how can they possibly understand the consequences of their "net zero" virtue-signalling?
Macan S collected 4 Dec 2017 - Jet Black, 20" SportDesign, Agate/Pebble, 18-way, Pano roof, Bi-Xenons with PDLS, Surround View, PASM, PS+, spare wheel, towbar.

They are exempt from the rules based on volume of unit sales. Aston Martin is an example of an exempt manufacturer.

They don't drive because they're picked up by chaffeur driven Govt cars or use Taxis. They pretend they're anti motorist in order to justify taxing us to death.

This was always going to happen as they are forced to sell more and more EV's that clearly people don't want. maybe they think people will just buy an EV instead?
More likely, people will just hold onto their current car.
2 things will happen. Manufacturers start going bust (which I think they want to happen) or there'll be a major panic, and legislation quickly changed to allow more ICE cars to be sold.
Aston Martin have said they're not going to bother with EV's, and just add the £15,000 fine onto the asking price.
