With Gentian yes aluminium looks best , but I do think best window trim etc depends on external colour, eg black for carmine red or dolomite silver

Yes, a bit of contrast accentuates the classic 911 lines.

I only realised the other day that "it was a thing" that the point of the crest should align with the tyre inflator cap :roll:
