Well we braved the snow, fog, rain and made it down there and I'm very glad we did. It was a great event and my two boys loved it. There were loads of Macans there in the car park but I guess the owners aren't on here. We didn't really have a walk around the car park because of the rain so I didn't get chance to see if Jon and the yellow peril had made it?

Some pics of the day....sorry no Macans...far more interesting stuff there!

Looks fun.

Car park was probably full of Macans cause all the sports cars couldn't make it through the weather :D

Looks like it was a good day, excellent selection of cars. Really like the cut up scaffold planks for the cars' details.

That's what we were saying.

This though had travelled up from London early in the morning. Salt had obviously got to it pretty quickly.

No heater (never mind a heated steering wheel) so the windows steamed up....answer...keep the windows open 🥶🥶🥶

What you needed was this...

A brand new 992 gt3 followed us in and I lost count of the number of 992 sport classics so not all the sports cars were tucked away

I think their inspiration was from Luftgekuhlt and boxengasse.

The text was interesting....not just bhp and 0-60 times. For example, the silver 930 turbo was one of the first turbos. Delivered in 1976 to the father of the current owner. The father sold it and the new owner took it to France on holiday where it was stollen and taken to Italy and got all the proper papers although it was stolen! Then it was exported to Australia but customs found it strange that it had italian papers but was RHD. Queried with Porsche it was finally discovered to be the stolen car. Current owner found it a couple of years ago...great story! I think it has only done 64k miles

There certainly was a great selection. I've realised I didn't get a photo of the 924 gt ☹
