My local dealer has 3 used Taycan for sale, 8 Cayenne and 7 911 models. There are 5 used Taycans for sale within 50 miles of me. So which models is it that aren’t selling 🤷‍♂️

They sell a lot less Taycan's new than they sell Cayenne's and 911's though.

But by comparison, my local OPC has 11Nr Taycan's for sale. 5Nr Cayenne's, and 11Nr 911's.

Swindon has 18 Taycans, 14 911 & 6 Cayennes. I've never seen their stock of used cars at 60 so high

I doubt this implies anything about the cars. I think it simply reflects that the populations are not comparable. People who buy Teslas are not the same as the people who buy Taycans, and their car buying decisions are based on completely different criteria. It probably just tells us that Porsche Taycan buyers are interested in quality and handling and are not exclusively looking for an electric car. Which makes sense. Tesla buyers are a subset of the people who want to buy an electric car - and very few of those would consider buying a Porsche.

I have a Taycan and it’s not primarily because of it being an electric car, tax saving or saving the planet.

I wanted a Porsche that can accommodate myself, wife and 2 teens with sometimes small dogs in the boot. I didn’t want a Porsche SUV as the handling of them while good is very far from how a Taycan can take corners. I do however love the power and instant torque of the electric motor.

Did you consider a Panny at all?
I had a 4hybrid for the day last week and thought it was remarkably smooth with a fantastic ride.
