It’s a world car, UK no’s will be interesting, there will certainly be a few, although it will sell well in Asia, Middle East and the States. It’s clearly from the Geely stable (Zeekr,Polestar,Volvo et al) but it does mirror the new Lotus style, look, presence and also suggesting in its performance. It’s in the Urus, Bentayga, AM, fold. Very high spec and will be competitively priced. What’s not to like? Well it’s BIG, even bigger than a Cayenne. As long as it allows Lotus to continue upward and keep making their sports scars in Hethel I’m all for it. Watch out as their next EV release will be Macan size 😓

The Fisker Ocean will be a heck of a lot better contender to the Macan EV , 560bhp for £60k and 350mile range
That's if it ever gets off the ground! Fisker's track record is dreadful, and their business model of buying everything in means that there'll be precious little margin left for them. Also, the Ocean is planned to be built in Austria, so high wage levels will be another problem. Remember that Fisker hasn't actually produced an Ocean yet, they just have a handful of prototypes. Mr Fisker is good at making promises, but isn't as good at delivering.

Some SUV’s on the market, are designed from their stable mate sports cars. But that Lotus, looks nothing like anything from their stable. The new Emira looks stunning, very much hypercar, Ferrari like. But that is anything but.

At least they won't be able to use it as a hearse - which is a plus point as I wouldn't want to be seen dead in one

Possibly, but it could also make me a dead ringer.
