Well I know it isn't a Macan, but you all like pictures. And although the "electric thing" might not suit everyone, it is a fantastic machine! :D

Very nice

Like it

I've not driven one properly yet - well my mates car was in the way once and the keys were in it so I drove it from one end of Silverstone pits to the other to drop something off but that was it !

Very nice, Ian!

If an EV was a practical proposition for me as my sole car, the Taycan would be my choice. Yours looks great! :)

We need more pics, and some initial impressions from you.

Is it me, or is the car riding high on its suspension? Air suspension on max height?

It is possibly a bit high as I was messing with it in the showroom before driving it out. I do have more pics, but the car is so shiny that they didn't come out that well! Must try harder - but the roads are such a mess that it is dirty already.

First impressions are that it is a very nice car. Drives really well. Extremely responsive. Not a hint of weighing over 2 tonnes. Takes off when you put your foot down - need to watch that! I hope that it works out OK with being electric - I think it will as I did a fair bit of research before I ordered it. Looking forward to driving it a bit more.

Just picked up my son in the dark and the matrix LED headlights seem impressive. Not really got a feel for them yet though. All in all, very happy so far :D

Yes indeed. They have been very good, as I expected.
Here is another one that shows off the colour a bit better.

Great looking car!
The matrix lights are excellent… I had these on the 992, my previous RS3 and RS6…. I miss them in the Macan. You can basically leave them on auto full beam - I never had any issues with oncoming drivers being blinded by the light. Absolutely awesome on dark winter mornings and evenings on my countryside commute. Hopefully they’ll add them to the EV Macan when it comes along.
I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the Taycan. I’ve thought about the Taycan GTS sport tourismo but even I can’t pretend my man maths works for that model 😅

Great pics. I have arranged a Taycan test drive soon and colour choice is tricky. Do like blue generally and Gentian looks great but I’m worried it could be a bit dark and harder to keep looking prestine.
