It was cheap milk via supermarkets that killed them off. What goes around comes around, As Arnie said “I’ll be back” 🤔 or was it “Ernie” 😉
It was Ernie, he drove the fastest milk float in the West. God bless him.🥛🥛

I see quite a few BMW i3 police cars and there’s movement on Tesla M3.

I’ve seen a lot of bicycle “ambulances”!

As said above there are so many BEV last leg delivery vans around. Many buses are hybrid/hydrogen.

All good for cleaner air in urban spaces.

Coventry is heavily into electric buses so I think that it's not so much weight that will hold back electric emergency vehicles, more the amount of power needed at high speed.

They simply don't work as police vehicles which are used 24hrs a day by 3 shifts.

Test with EVs have found vehicles have been unusable for half the day due to charging requirements so two or three EVs are required to do the job of one ICE.

Bloody obvious I would have thought but hey ho!!!!

“Half the day” ? We’re these tests conducted last century??

Seriously though not all police vehicles need to be rolling 24h a day. It’s obvious this isn’t an either/or question.

Should that be ‘should that be “were?”?’

I blame autocucumber and English not being a first language 😂
