Our Macan S (2015 29k) has just been diagnosed by Leeds as needing a new speed sensor, car was juddering and all yellow lights flashing. They are going to change all 4 but not till middle of June, when they will collect and return car. No loaner was offered unless I needed one on the repair day and if so, could only do middle of July!!!

Asked if I could drive it, they advised not to as it could go into 'limp mode' and we would have to get our own recovery! Should they not provide a hire car?? I have full Porsche warranty, but not Assist.
seems a long wait with no car.

Try elsewhere, Sheffield, Stockport, etc.

Try York too. Way more friendly than Leeds. Might not affect the cost but they’re a lot easier to deal with, despite being part of the JCT600 stable.
Arriving in June, all being well. Slightly tweaked to now include Bose - https://configurator.porsche.com/en-GB/ ... m=PS4LXHU0

It doesn't appear to be an expensive fix, nor beyond the reach of your average DIY'er:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256444146813 (for erasing ECU error codes)

Plus some silicone grease for lubing up new part

I'm not fixing it, it's under warranty, The bill will be zero, what I'd like to know from you guys is should I be entitled to a loan car from Enterprise as it has full warranty and can't be driven??

Surely best to talk to the warranty issuer (or read the terms & conditions) for a definitive answer?

As far as I’m aware, no warranty claim entitles you to a loan car…….but, of course, I might be wrong? 🤔

Sorry, thought it could be an option open to you to save you having to lay your car up until July or rent one out for a day or two, as per the original post.

If they say nothing about a loan car you won't get one.

Just had my sensors replaced and the car went into limp mode once but i restarted and got going before it had time to choose to limp.

Only £28 each plus a mornings' labour so not too bad.
