£467 sir. What a rip
I've asked them to come back with a price if they keep the oil top-up and washer concentrate (which they probably don't provide on this service, but hey-ho).
Will see what they say
Wow an oil change after 3,000 miles. That does sound extreme. When is the service needed?
If it’s a long way off you’ll have to change the oil again then too.

Yes, I've used GCR before. Pretty good on price and they know their stuff.
Ideally you drive your car to combine the first oil change with the first service - right? I think that's what my car is suggesting I do, the two dates are the same for both oil/service.
I guess in the above case 3k miles of short journeys will bring that date forward - gotta make sure you're getting that engine through a proper heat cycle!

I had the same with my first Macan, 3000 miles for oil change, queried with OPC, they checked and yes it was due, down to lots of short journeys, which was the case at that time. Cost was £300 in mid 2018.

Back in 2020 my 981 would turn over but wouldn't start..
OPC Leicester said "you'll need to bring the car in" and wouldn't let me speak to a technician to diagnose what it could be. They still don't let a caller speak to a tech, just a weird contact centre.
I called GCR and they asked if I'd like them to organise recovery, which they did at £80. The problem was dead battery. Enough to spin but not to start.
OPC Leicester have been weird with other things too.
The bint at Leicester didn't get back to me, so I rang her. She said she'd spoken to her service manager regarding discounting the oil-only service by not issuing the oil top-up bottle and washer jet concentrate, and the answer was - 'we give those free of charge so the price can't be altered.'

I don't know how they keep a straight face.
Agreed - they are very thick skinned and most people just pay and don't query. I know a tech personally and even he can't believe so many people pay the prices charged by his employer.
My wife’s T had its first oil change at 12,600 miles on Friday - we’ve only had it since last June so she’s been busy, clearly. Cost was £434 at Tewkesbury, though they found another nail in a tyre so that’s a further £347 for a Pirelli Scorpion Verde rear tyre.
It became more expensive because we test drive a Cayenne while the service was carried out. Going to be putting down the £3,000 for one to replace the Macan in the expectation it’ll take about a year for a Cayenne S to be built.
