If the Macan oil change and service time were roughly at the same time then there wouldn't be much difference in service cost.
Has anybody on here got a definitive cost of an interim oil change only and a service without oil change at an OPC ?
Yes, on my last Macan because I used it for 'all' journeys it asked for an oil change before the first interim service was due, I got a quote from OPC Tewkesbury for both being done at the same time then they agreed just to split the cost so I paid £300 for the oil change (6/20) followed by the first interim service 6 months later without changing the oil again when they charged the balance of £345 (£225 for the service element and £120 for the brake fluid change) This was followed by a 2nd oil change charged at £345 (7/21) and then the full 4yr service at £797 (12/22) before I sold the car. I fully appreciate costs have risen since but it gives you an idea....................
Wow - what OPC was that. They are either very low prices you were charged or the degree of tunning us owners up has recently been notched well up! I have an 16 month old macan and its asking for the first oil change now at approaching 18K miles. Quoted (Cambridge and Hatfield similar) £440 or just an oil and filter change and £970 for first 20K mile service which would include cabin filter, brake fluid and oil change. If i do the first oil change within a month or so of the first service, they won't change the oil again but would only knock £340 off the service price (i.e. i am penalised £100 for having the service done separately, at their OPC, to the oil change).

I think catastrophic failure is extremely unlikely, but if the cost is not an issue, I’m sure that the engine would appreciate an oil transfusion every 10k miles. ;)
My 981 is 2yrs or 20,000 miles between oil changes.
I once asked my OPC about a 10,000 mile oil change, being mechanically sympathetic myself, and believe it or not they said "There's no point, today's oils are so good it would be a waste of time and money."

Don’t think there is a true definitive price as all seem to vary. My experience with my October 2020 GTS looks as follows:
04.22. Oil and filter change @8048miles: £429.00
10.22. 1st service plus BF, no oil change: £434.00
08.23. Oil and filter change @17274miles: £412.00

Same owned dealership as @robbie but different location. Also his first oil change was almost two years before mine, so you can see the price change there. Not sure why the price of my oil change went down the second time either.

I think the £100 difference is for the 30min health check they require for every visit.

Your 2023 price for oil change reduced as the cost of oil to the OPC has reduced. Some do actually pass this on !!!

This included an oil change and new spark plugs.
No free coffee, cakes, luxury waiting area, courtesy car etc.!!
This is what we sometimes forget. We probably shouldn't be looking at the headline cost of an OPC service, but the 'difference' in price between an OPC service and a run of the mill car serviced at it's main dealer.

Anyway, today I rang Leicester OPC for a quote for my '23 Macan S's (1 year old, 3k miles of short journeys) first oil change only.

£467 sir. What a rip 🤣

I've asked them to come back with a price if they keep the oil top-up and washer concentrate (which they probably don't provide on this service, but hey-ho).
Will see what they say

Try Tewkesbury for an alternative quote, or GCR indy in Leicester (Chris), then phone OPC Leics back and see if they'll match?
