As I've said before, I'm not against alternative fuels, just not EVs with their impossible charging infrastructure issues.Jon A wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 10:20 am Sounds ideal. I certainly don’t wish for EV’s to die a death, that’s just silly!
It’s not EV’s making ICE obsolete, it’s use of fossil fuels and air pollution. Demonising an alternative power plant makes absolutely no sense and is the stuff of the school playground.
Taycan is a great drivers car according to Henry Catchpole, and the couple I’ve driven were fantastic.
Charging infrastructure and range are transient problems I think.
Even business user don't really want a charging point at home and one at work, they want to go to a 'service station' and fill up on fuel be it hydrogen, E-Petrol/Diesel, Bio-Fuel, Ammonia, whatever...
Once hydrogen and CO2 harvesting is in full swing in ten years or so we'll largely have forgotten about EVs and just go fill up as normal with E-Fuel (net zero emissions), with direct hydrogen powered engines for cities (zero emissions).
