It’s not EV’s making ICE obsolete, it’s use of fossil fuels and air pollution. Demonising an alternative power plant makes absolutely no sense and is the stuff of the school playground.
Taycan is a great drivers car according to Henry Catchpole, and the couple I’ve driven were fantastic.
Charging infrastructure and range are transient problems I think.
As I've said before, I'm not against alternative fuels, just not EVs with their impossible charging infrastructure issues.

Even business user don't really want a charging point at home and one at work, they want to go to a 'service station' and fill up on fuel be it hydrogen, E-Petrol/Diesel, Bio-Fuel, Ammonia, whatever...

Once hydrogen and CO2 harvesting is in full swing in ten years or so we'll largely have forgotten about EVs and just go fill up as normal with E-Fuel (net zero emissions), with direct hydrogen powered engines for cities (zero emissions).

Perhaps 10 years but probably not I think. Hydrogen powered cars are EV’s using a fuel cell to convert to electricity chemically.
I think we should have a choice as to what we prefer as that seems to make most sense for most folks 🤷‍♂️

Can anybody suggest a Macan ICE forum I can join, on my second with no plans to change but the insidious EVs seems to be everywhere and working to strangle my interests and even my will to live!

I thought there was now research on hydrogen turning an engine (pistons etc).

Perhaps the Macan forum will split into two for you Neil when Macan EV is launched?
That way these “insidious” inanimate objects will stop threatening you? 😂😂

Maybe one part of the forum will be reserved for those that actually own a Macan! Not 911 owners departing wisdom to us lesser mortals😀

Not sure about the dark side but have already posted my spec a couple of weeks ago - will put it in my signature when I get chance. Basically a fairly stripped down GTS due in March 😊

"And have another one coming?" What's that all about then, thought SWMBO had confiscated your Manculator on that idea?
