Well this thread took off since I last looked - no notifications received.
Thank you to those who have provided further advice. A lot more food for thought and leaving me undecided again eg on air suspension.

Just to add, this is the spec I finally settled on: PRI2ZX68. I'm going to try very hard not to change it again!
Thanks for all the advice. I'm hoping for delivery next April/May.

I’m assuming you have no children in childcseats as rear airbags could have been an issue.

Macan does have rear airbags as standard. I think the optional items are in addition and shoulder height?

No kids but I'm not sure what the issuewith the airbags would have been.

If your delivery is April/May then there is no rush to lockdown the spec.

OPC suggested December (and I am about to go away for 5 weeks) and I am sick of agonising over colours!

There have been instances of Porsche Germany locking specs without telling OPC's and OPC's not telling customers when the lockdown date is approaching.

These instances are low in number, but they do occur

My advice would be to decide and tell your OPC as soon as possible the best estimate of the spec you want. Yes, there may be a later opportunity to change but there may not
