Agree with others 18 way are not the seats to have especially if your Partner is short in height. My 5’2” Wife found the 18 way seats difficult to get into.
This is all dependent on the individual

We’ve had the 14 ways in the past and now only buy the 18 ways as we find them far superior in comfort.

We’re both fairly slim, just goes to show you that you need to go sit in the seats and decide for yourself.
Over 50 miles in an 18 way and numbness can set in, there is no squirm room, the 18 way seats lock you firmly in position.

Another downside is dependent upon the physical size of the driver and passenger when one may find that one does not sit in the seat but on it.

Always best to have a very long test drive session 1/2 day or ideally a full day to be sure that you can live with an 18 way.

If in doubt, go for 14 way.

Never personally had the numbness issue, I find them very very comfortable
I even prefer the 8 way GTS bucket seats over the 14s

Definitely need to sit in them for a 1 hr drive, everyone’s different

Totally agree about the 8-way GTS seats and with the Alcantara / Race Tex centres.

I found the 14-way too flat and didn't hold me during brisk high speed corners.

Blimey, they must be very brisk if a 14 way couldn’t hold you in. I’ve never experienced that in mine 😉

Like most things on here, folks will generally only endorse what they currently have.
I have had both and stick by my original observations 😊

Anything other than a 2018 Carrera T in Racing Yellow with 4-way Sports Seats Plus is undriveable.
