My neighbour has a GTS and when I had my S we swapped for a few hours and went driving around the Peak District for a few hours. We both agreed the GTS felt a little tighter and that the power difference was there but hard to access by comparison as it was all at 6k rpm and above where you could feel any difference
Hard to comment on looks as my S was optioned heavily and looked the same but was also similar price (so would lose more in depreciation)
I had 14w his was 18w and both very comfortable. 18w definitely held you in place more but were an embuggerance to get in or out.
Wheels were same and my S had air - both comfortable but you wouldn’t run either in sports plus, far too frantic for the road and size of car.
In the end both a great and you just go with what you fancy I guess.

Easy choice, gen 1 in Carmine with 35k miles and OPC warranty. Know anyone with one…….
And if you don’t like the PSE then you should be driving a Tesla

You seem to like it but not enough to use it as your Avatar .... and how do you make Carmine look so much brighter than anybody else's, are you sure they didn't spray it with Guards Red by mistake?

Yeah, my Avatar is my old S and I could not get the size right to upload the GTS when I tried. As for the colour, it is stage 2 machine polished and Gtechniq ceramic coated, maybe that makes a difference. I also think the carbon fibre and black details help to bring the colour out.

^^^ Probably my favourite Macan owned by a regular forum contributor!
As I often say, if in the market for a Macan (again) my goal would be a Gen I Carmine GTS.
A later Python GTS is the only one that comes close.

Certainly Gen1 GTS is very good looking and has a bit more presence than the “light bar” cars?Wing Commander wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2023 7:08 am ^^^ Probably my favourite Macan owned by a regular forum contributor!

I think I might go for Gen2 though just for the bigger PCM and standard CarPlay and the 2.9 engine…

Most 2016 onwards gen 1 have CarPlay. If they don’t it costs £150 to have it added.

WOW, thanks for all the comments.
I decided on a MK2 GTS in the end, went carmine red over the crayon was a close call but the red with all the black just looked amazing.
£60k from a main dealer with pretty much every extra and only has 15k miles, it arrives on Thursday
