Thanks done some research and the stoplock pro and not the elite is recommended for the macan

So I’ve ordered the pro as it’s a little smaller and I e orders the GT wheel which is 360mm diameter - so the pro elite would be larger than I need

Thanks all, bought the stoplock pro now!

Good luck. Have you seen how it's fitted. It would take a dozen blades and a couple of hours. You'd struggle with an angle grinder.

Minutes. They cut the steering wheel , bend and slide it off.

No need to cut the device at all..............

There’s a YouTube clip of a guy cutting through a Focus ST steering wheel in 9 seconds. Disc lock or nothing.

The lock is fitted either side of the lower wheel spoke so to slide it off you have to cut through the spoke too. It ain't a 30 second job.

At the end of the day it’s a deterrent, if someone wants to they can remove it.

But it won’t be that easy, will be noisy and that’s enough to put off most thief’s. That’s enough for me

At the end of the day they are all deterants but I have a disc lock with a disk lock padded cover to protect steering wheel before applying the disk lock, with no damage to wheel so far.

I went to look at one and too heavy/awkward for me personally, I’d stop using after a couple of weeks.

Also seen a few reviews which showed some issues with both the stoplock and disklok, thieves ultimately managed to get around both in minutes - hence my earlier point around them being deterrents only
