Sometimes when I turn my ignition on without starting the engine I hear a sort of electrical motor type sound that runs and runs. I can do the same thing another time and it isn’t running. This is in a cold car that hasn’t been run.

Sound eminates from front drivers side and can be heard through the wheel arch.

Anyone know what it is as I’m intrigued.

Must be something like that. I also wondered about Air Suspension.

Could be the air suspension pump and/or self levelling, but in my experience that does stop fairly quickly.

My bet is on fuel pump.

Agreed, my Twinair does it too as soon as it's unlocked, a bit annoying if its not going to be driven.

Yeah, guess it’s priming but unnecessarily if you’re not going anywhere, which I wasn’t.
