Last time I was there it seemed like most attendees were driving Taycans. This time I think there was possibly only one other.

Agree the Batak machine is really worth trying out. I was surprised that I was the only one who wanted to go on it.

There were maybe 1 or two Taycans out where I was there, but overwhelmingly combustion! Many 911's of various guises, GT4RS, GT3, Dakar - even the GT3RS went out for a quick jaunt around (although it was only a Porsche instructor probably just keeping the battery topped up).

Hi Jamie87 - I have a PEC day booked and live far enough away to contemplate staying close by the night before. Was that a special code from the PEC or by asking Hilton?

Thanks SAC1 - you read it right - it's for a kip and feeling fresh the next day rather than the full pampering experience.

I think we paid less than £90 at the Hilton just for the room (PEC breakfast is very good) and we were overlooking the pit straight on the circuit (no discount code).

Food in the restaurant was OK and bar is decent. If you plan to eat in the hotel restaurant, worth booking a table as when we were there a few weeks ago it was a 45 minute wait for a table.

I thought the Hilton was decent value and would stay there again if I was just looking for a convenient place to stay for the PEC experience.

I just phoned the Hilton to book, they asked me if it was for a particular reason to stay ( Bicester shopping village 20min away). Said was our PEC day, they then said the price of £89
