That to me looks like an Evoke that's driving past something in front of it on fire.

It's not parked, you can see by the rear lights, and that's the access road it's on.

Not sure that's the car that's on fire at all. I'm sure the fire investigation will get to the bottom of it.

An airport has it's own fire department. So any ICE car fire `should` be able to be put out quite quickly.

The fact the whole place has burned down does suggest an EV fire given the speed and severity of them. Could be wrong of course. But as I said before, I doubt they'll admit to it being an EV unless someone has photographic proof of the EV on fire.

Just found this:
The Vauxhall Corsa-e was eighth on the list of models that have lost the most value since 2022.
It experienced a 37.7 per cent decline, according to data shared with This Is Money.
And Auto Trader found it had suffered a 21% loss in the year to September, putting it behind only the Porsche Taycan with 23.3%.

Now 21% loss on a Corsa is quite a hit but a 23.3% loss in 9 months on the cost of the Taycan is eye watering.

Lots of people trying to pin the Luton airport car park fire on a hybrid because the battery is on the left. This is incorrect, it’s under the drivers seat on the right hand side. Source- JLR and EuroNCAP rescue app used by emergency services.

Surely forewarned is forearmed, I do not know of any Macan owners rushing to purchase the EV version, what makes the Macan EV any different to the Tacan with regards to depreciation???
