Hi Guys,
I wonder if I could get your opinions on the car below please. It is a 2019 Macan S with 50,000 miles on the clock, in Sapphire Blue, which is my favourite colour and a few options that I like!
I have a budget of £50K at most, which unfortunately means I cannot purchase new, so I was looking at used ones and found this on the Saxtons 4x4 website but the high miles and only a part service history are putting me off.
I will not put many miles on the car so the high mileage may not be too much of a concern I guess and the spec is ok’ish for me, but I keep changing my mind (which really means that it is not the car for me, I guess) but the price seems quite competitive!?
My main concern is the part service history – I have very little detail besides this but I guess that means that the 40,000 major service has not been carried out (does this not include PDF fluid change as well, if I remember correctly) and so this would be a large cost service I assume?
It only comes with 3 months of RAC cover, which can be extended – not sure what the RAC warranties are like, but I guess I could pay for a 111 check and then get a Porsche extended Warranty?
Maybe I need to wait / save for another year or so and purchase new then
Thanks
Andrew
2019 Used Macan S Opinions Please
I'd look elsewhere, I don't think Saxtons 4x4 are necessarily the best traders to buy from. A friend used to work there...
You'll pay more to buy from an OPC, but you should end up with a decent car with a decent warranty. The Porsche used car site has lots of Macans under £50K.

Thanks guys - much appreciated. I must admit to not having looked on the Porsche website for a few weeks as I though that they would be out of my budget, but I am looking for 2019-2020 and that one looks nice 2japs

Thanks for that Tim - those details look nice and only 21K miles I wonder if I could get a deal on that and go in with cash and get 1K or so off? (mind you they really want you to take out finance when doing this I guess?)Tim H wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 7:32 pm Believe this is my old car. Blimey I see you only had it for 2 years and now have a brand new 2023 model - I wish I could afford to change cars that frequently
Thanks Again

This is my old car, I used it for my work as a surveyor, the mileage is the result of travelling into London fairly frequently, it was always serviced by Porsche Colchester until the brake pads needed doing which were sorted by a local specialist who services my 911. It had an extended warranty until 4 years old, it cost them plenty to sort out the rear washers.andywebber wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 4:25 pm Hi Guys,

Way to high a mileage to consider.

Oh, did you suffer with the rear washer connection and it soaking the carpets like a lot of others during the cold snap then?N111BJG wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 9:24 pm

I see that you are also in a new nice 2023 Macan - how does it compare to the older model, as far as you are concerned - maybe I wait and save a bit more and try for an early gen 3 next year?
