My Macan is at the dealership now awaiting collection this morning to go off for paint correction and some key bits of PPF. The difference between paint-corrected and non-paint corrected can be significant. I would have also got them to ceramic coat it but I like to do that myself. No way would I let any dealership anywhere near the paintwork

Was that the guard ex /super guard stuff they offer ?
No. Gtechniq.

I was sceptical at first but I have to admit they’ve done a great job. Think it took them 2 days.
That’s great! Which OPC?

I’m getting increasingly frustrated with Local OPC, lead times seem a lot longer than others and I’m now considering cancelling and going down the “ scooby” route and getting a pre owned Macan 😡

I normally get a local detailer to detail my cars, and ceramic coat them.

Now Porsche are offering this service, which is more expensive for sure. I decided to let Porsche carry out the work. Just means is ceramic coated from the day I collect it.

I have paid for it, but if the amp issue carries on much longer, I may try getting my money back as a good will gesture (good luck with that !!!!).

I do have a Macan S demo car from tomorrow till late Monday as we are going away for a long weekend, Phoned up and asked for a car, as mine is sat at the dealers doing nothing. Happily they sorted it out for me.
