Could that be the actual PPF that is split?
Reaching a bit I know but it defies belief otherwise…

If you have a look on the US Macan forum, you’ll see that splitting of the B pillar trim isn’t uncommon, and it has been covered under warranty, so I’d suggest contacting your supplying OPC……good luck! 🤞🤞
It can't harm to try and I'm due a Masterclass visit! Also want a new wiper as the original smears in its return sweep.

1. A stray golf ball?
2. From what I have read, Porsche North America are more generous on warranty issues than Porsche GB.

1. It would be a million to 1, no not even that likely!
2. Yes, a warranty fix is about as likely but no harm in raising it 🙏

Good luck! My car has severely degraded B-pillar covers, and the OPC simply said that trim wasn't covered by warranty.

Neil, I would have thought that given the age of your car, & the fact it is under the original Porsche warranty, you should get that under warranty. However under extended warranty there would be no chance. Good luck!

Agree with Toddie, I think the new car warranty is far more inclusive than the extended version. I really can’t imagine them not sorting this to be fair.
