My oil change came at 1yr.
Geez, what sort of driving do you do if you have needed an oil change after 12 months instead if 2 years 20k miles🤔
every 10,000 miles
Porsche Macan Service Intervals
The Porsche Macan maintenance schedule includes oil changes every 10,000 miles (or after 1 year), as well as the following maintenance tasks at 40/80/120/160k miles (or at 2, 6, and 10-year intervals if mileage isn't reached):6 May 2023

? fact check on google, it’s after one year?
That's the USA not UK
From the Porsche UK website

"Scheduled Maintenance and Annual Checks

Your Porsche car needs regular maintenance for optimum safety and performance, so we have developed various ways to help you manage the cost of this, such as a transparent menu of pricing for scheduled service work. Service and Maintenance Pricing Menu.

Porsche services need only be repeated every two years or 20,000 miles (12,000 miles for 911 GT models) for cars built after 2005 and your Porsche Centre will remind you when your service is due.

Between services, however, we still recommend that you visit your Porsche Centre for an annual check. Your car is as individual as you are and every driver has a different driving style. An annual check can be tailored to your requirements and can cover the wear levels on your brakes, clutch and tyres, for example, as well as fluid levels and the latest software updates."

On my street there is an RS6, Ferrari Roma, new Defender 110, Maserati Ghibli (tho an older one), E53 estate, a Jag F Type and two Macans (neighbours T, stolen and returned, and my GTS).

None of us have driveways or garages! Welcome to London :)

I basically only lock and unlock my car when stood next to it. I don't know how these jammers work, but I assume if I'm stood next to the car it's less likely to jam the signal.

Thanks for that info.

I just spoke with Porsche gb and they do confirm that it should be 2 years 20,000 miles for macan oil services. Now to go back to my opc and get them to reset the oil service for September 2025.
Wish me luck!! "

^^^ This subject has been done to death, but some Porsches DO request an oil change much sooner than the 20k mile or 2 year service interval.

Many forum contributors have reported this.

I myself have documented several times that my 2017 Panamera 4 required an oil change after 10k miles when that car was less than one year old. I did 17k miles in the year that I had it. And no, it wasn’t short journeys. In fact it was almost all motorway driving, with lots of trips from Swindon to Kent and back.

Yep. Many engines (Audi-based?) seem to have sensors that monitor oil condition and indicate when an oil change is advised, which seems often to be before the 2 year/20k mile service intervals. You’re not mad or making it up. ;) 👍

Yes, appreciate it - I was going to email them but it’s pointless as my car is probably on another continent now post the theft! I did think it was a little expensive/too soon to send it in at the time, but is what it is.

More likely it'll have been stripped for parts - those rear washer systems are in great demand!
