Looking at the Rennlist forums, there are differences between the US and UK in terms of servicing/oil change intervals etc. Also, in the US, they seem quicker to extend the warranty on parts that get a reputation for failing (e.g. water pumps on 991s).boreas7 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 10:40 pm The 4 year gearbox service is a bit of a mystery. In Spain the recommended gearbox service for the Macan is 6 years not 4 and I believe I am right in saying, the equivalent, perhaps identical, gearbox on the Audi Q5 is again 6 years.
Porsche UK however seem to specify 4 years, why I don't know.

When my SD was four years old, the PDK oil change was set at 6 years or 40k miles. As I'd covered 37k miles at the time of the service I opted to have the oil change rather than have to take the car back in a few months later. The bill was complicated by the need for an AdBlu sensor change but including Air Con refresh worked out as just short of £1,500. I wouldn't bother with Air Con refresh again.
