Hi,
Just bought a 2018 macan 20L petrol, 58000 miles . It had a pre buy inspection by an independent Porsche specialist before buying and all ok. It has an extended Porsche warranty to September this year. Was wondering if there anything to check/look out for before the warranty ends? Any common problems experienced by other macan owners? Cheers
Warranty ending
If I were you I'd just renew it, do so BEFORE it expires and it's just a formality, no inspection required. £800 for one year £2100 for 3. Downside is it'll tie you into dealer servicing, however, if you intend to have maintenance from the Indy then the first year could pass without any, depending on the service history/timing....

Is the extended warranty a Porsche one or other company?
I think there are two ways of running a Porsche post 3 years old. first Porsche warranty and OPC serving; Second using a good independent and taking the repair risk.
The common problem is transfer box but then the 7 year guarantee would still have 2 years left. the engine bolt oil leak issue on the V6's does not apply to the 2 litres

Only if selling privately. It has no value to an OPC.

Possibly if selling to an OPC, but why would you do that when WBAC pay more and want service history but with no premium for it being Porsche. Private sale, Porsche history and warranty make a difference, at least they would if I was the buyer!

Not always, my OPC gave me more than any of the online offers at the time.
