Yesterday on the Porsche stand there was a "black" GTS , or so I thought. Today I read the spec of car alongside it and it was not black but a Paint to sample colour called Dark Olive Metalic at a cost of over £6200!!

Yep I saw it too, I thought it was black too, it explains the green stitching inside now.

Not to mention the extra, however many, months lead time...

Which would be another additional cost!

Yep. Saw it Thursday and also thought it was black.
That was both when it was raining and later in the day when it was bright sunshine. Marginally different and no way worth £6k. £88k IIRC.

No accounting for a lack of taste.

Heh. A friend text me a photo saying they had 'my' spec GTS at the Porsche stand. He was there in person and didn't spot it was 'green'.

Not so much a lack of taste, as a questionable decision by the OPC to spec it in that colour. Still, at £88k, it’s still cheaper than the asking price of many delivery mileage GTSs on sale currently. 🤔

Me too. There was a 911 parked out the back in a really dark metallic green that was very nice. As for the Macan GTS I specifically said how nice I thought the black looked for a no cost option!! Amazed it wasn’t black.
